The 2016 Summer Reading list can be found below.  This list applies to children entering Kindergarten through 6th Grade. Please look at the list that applies to the grade your child is entering this coming fall.  This is a suggested list; students may also read other books by listed authors.

6th Grade

Students must read three books during the summer; one of the three books must be a Christian book (see required book below). Students can choose from the suggested list below or choose books of their choice. Students must journal on their reading every time they read. Students must have a total of at least 10 journal entries for each book read. The journal entries should be a summary of what they read and at least one paragraph in length. Entries should include the following: setting, plot, main events of the text, and main characters.  All journals are due the first day of school.
